1996 Leidekkersteeg

The suicide of one of my best friend after years of depression and me trying to save him from this terrible state, I made this installation called "Jesus de Hollander". Leidekkersteeg was a initiative from Jane Osterman Pedersen a danish artist being tired of the art world,  rented a house in Red light area of Amsterdam during the spring and summer of 1996 to show artists including amongst others Jeroen de Rijke and Willem de Roy.
